Coaching vs Counseling

Girl Reimagined Coaches are not counselors, we are coaches by choice. Coaching helps you gain a deeper self-awareness so that you can recognize your goals, identify obstacles that are in your way, and start working your plan. We believe you are whole, and we are not trying to fix you. You’re not broken! You have everything you need to be successful in life. Our job is to encourage you, hold you accountable, offer you guidance, and a virtual shoulder to cry on if you need it. Here are a sample of the topics we specialize in:

  • Goal-setting
  • Planning for the future
  • Building healthy relationships
  • Building confidence
  • Assertiveness (asking for what you need)
  • Working through hard times (breakups, crappy jobs, loser boyfriends, mean friends, you name it!)
  • Making big decisions (where to go to school, where to settle down, who to settle down with, what comes next?)
  • Getting unstuck, and moving forward
  • Finding your passion
  • Overcoming challenges
  • Fighting the urge to procrastinate
  • Recovering from past hurts

And so much more. Whatever it is that you have going on in your life, coaching can help.

20% of young people struggle with mental health issues. If you fit into this category, and are struggling with depression, severe anxiety, an eating disorder, or other mental health challenges, we recommend finding a local counselor and taking the steps to get to a better place. Once you are in that better place, come back to Girl Reimagined and let’s get to work making a plan for your future!
